Products Finishing Opens 2022 Top Shops Benchmarking Survey

Products Finishing has announced the opening of the 2022 Top Shops Benchmarking Survey, a program designed to aid finishing shops in measuring their key operating metrics against others in the industry. 

“The PF Top Shops Benchmarking Survey is celebrating its 7^th year of providing industrial finishers an in-depth look at how their shop is performing along with a comparison of their data against their peers,” says Products Finishing editor-in-chief Scott Francis.

The program was launched in 2015 and has been a great success in helping finishers identify optimal shop floor practices and improve operations and business procedures. Hundreds of shops participate annually, resulting in a wealth of data and statistics that proves invaluable for assessing areas of improvement, such as finishing technology, performance and practices, business strategy, and human resources.

The survey may be completed throughout the year and will allow shops to benefit from faster turnaround of benchmarking results. While the survey will remain open, shops are encouraged to participate early to be considered for media coverage.

The September issue of Products Finishing magazine will kick off coverage of benchmarking results, industry insights gleaned from the program and shop profiles, as well as a celebration of qualifying Top Shops.
